Please email or call if you are interested so an appointment time to meet with Rinpoche can be arranged. Email: dragonseatmeditation(at)gmail(dot)com

Refuge Vow - Refuge is the door into the formal practice of Buddhism. The Buddha said that practice has more merit when done after taking refuge vows. Some teachers add that when filling out forms one would write Buddhist for your religion after the refuge vow.

One takes refuge in the Buddha as the great teacher who showed the way to full awakening

One takes refuge in the dharma as the path of teachings that leads to realization

One takes refuge in the sangha as the great spiritual friends who can help us on our journey

This is a very good opportunity to take this vow with Khenpo Gawang Rinpoche, a fully ordained monastic, experienced Buddhist practitioner and Tibetan Buddhist scholar. Each person will be given a Refuge (Buddhist) name.

The Committee for the Munsel School in Kham is looking for volunteers to help with fundraising, do research and grant writing, and help with general office work and mailings. If you are interested please call here and leave a message - a Team Munsel member will call you back! www.munselschool.org
